About Gabriel Picazo

Star 1 (dark).jpg

A songwriter turned into a conventional writer, an adventurer with the soul of an artist.

Raised on an island in the Caribbean Sea by a devout Catholic and a scuba dive instructor, Gabriel's heart has always been divided between a search for adventure and a quest to connect with the Divine through art.

After an adolescence spent songwriting and performing internationally alongside well-recognized musicians, he turned to the world of aviation as a professional aspiration. Gabriel trained across different countries and flew small aircraft of all kinds from the mountains of Mexico to the coasts of Florida. He later felt the call of the sea and got certified as a sailing skipper by the Royal Yachting Association during training in Europe.

As his thirties approached, Gabriel started spending more time working on his purpose to help his generation reconnect with the Divine and the sacred values that have long sustained our Western societies through Christianity. He has since then authored two books: "A Prayer for Millennials," a short memoir, and "The Moon's Embrace," a fiction story for children in the picture book format. In his free time, he also hosts a podcast where he has had the pleasure of discussing philosophy and art with prominent modern figures like Professor Warren Smith and renowned Latvian painter Sandra Rudzite.
